Docetaxal induced scleroderma like disease

Scleroderma like skin disease is a rare entity among the drug induced dermatological manifestations. It attributed to various drugs and recently certain oncological medications especially taxanes. Despite being an efficacious chemotherapeutic agent, it results in scleroderma lesions rarely resolves some patients if detected early with omission of culprit or without steroids. its rarity literature untreated cases develop severe functional limitation due fibrosis. After exploration search herein we report first case docetaxal Sri Lankan which was promptly treated steroids successfully. We this make clinicians aware about condition when encountered patient having fibrosis background history chemotherapy, possibility scleroderma.
